He's Baaack . . .

Hey, I'm a daddy again . . .

My wife had our daughter two weeks ago. Her stats were 8 pounds 2 ounces, 21 inches long, sassy attitude.

It's been a real education; I thought I would have a handle on newborns, having a three year old boy already, but this girl is teaching me some new tricks. For one, 'mixed up' hours, staying up from midnight 'till 4:30 a.m. or so. We have been slowly extending her evenings, so she now sleeps most of the night, with only two nightly feedings. Other than that glitch, we are learning to live with each other, and my wife and I have decided to keep her, despite her using just under 100 diapers in a week (!). And I thought boys were trouble. . . (grumble, grumble, :^)

Any hoo, I'm back in the office, sleepy and happy. Good to be back, I MISSED YOU PEOPLE!

Congratulations and Welcome Back! Don't you just love it when they decide that midnight is a good time to wake up!!! I remember with my older 2, my whole goal in life was to get them to sleep!! With the younger ones I did not worry so much about it, and by the 4th one. I could have stayed up all night!!!! I sure am glad that they all sleep now though.

I am glad everything is OK, and I hope your wife had an easy time of it. By the way how is her ankle doing?

Give the baby a little hug and kiss for me. I love babies, could have had 10!!!!

Congratulations! I could use a little girl, so if you get tired of her...

I wouldn't mind a couple more--Hey, Melissa, if you'll carry them, I'll go through labor!! I'm better at labor than being pregnant, that's for sure!
