.....I wonder if I can get to your house by suppertime if I start running now? Will you adopt me?! *BIG GRIN!* Toni

We're feeding the farm crews this week (our turn) so there'll be plenty of food fixin' around here.

We've just cleaned up breakfast (pancakes, scrambled eggs, cheese biscuits, fruit cup, orange juice, and 30-cup perc of coffee).

and now we're on to chicken pot pies, green salad, cheddar & garlic biscuits, plenty of iced sweet tea, and my famous pound cake topped with strawberries & raisin sauce.

Tonight they'll all go home for supper and we'll eat leftovers.

Iam going to try the Pepsi pork roast recipe which I got from the Cooking & Crafts forum. Along with it we will have mashed potatoes, corn, and since I got so hungry for the Hot Milk Cake (after I posted the recipe), we will have that for dessert. Have a great Monday!

Last night we just finished up the rest of the Jambalaya - although it is definitely better the second and third days. Tonight will be salmon with mustard cream sauce, baked rice and broccoli raab with garlic. Mmmm.

We're having a simple supper since we're both sick. I'm going to brown some hamburger and chopped onion, drain and add thinly sliced potatoes and chopped cabbage. Then I'll cover it until the potatoes and cabbage are cooked. For a side dish, I'll put out some raw carrots.

deer chili and cornbread. I made banana pudding this morning also.Sounds like me and Melinda are thinking on the same wave!

I think the beans and cornbread idea sounds wonderful, and still possible if I get it on right now! We don't care for soup and chili too much when it starts getting warmer, so this might be my last shot at beans for awhile, unless it's baked beans to go with burgers!

The car is in the shop and I will be picking up the DH at work, so we will be having stew and bread tonight as it can be fixed ahead of time. That's OK, I make good stew.
