A recent post was offering a SF 20 with a Contax slave cable. Does this work? There are 4 pins on the SF 20 and only three on the Contax hot shoe end of the cable extention. ???? I already have the Contax flash cable but am reluctant to try it for fear of frying the SF 20. Anyone know FOR SURE?

I've been told the Contax TTL cord does work with the SF-20, but I use the Nikon SC-17 cord with mine and it works great.

Marc, I bought a Contax cable a few weeks ago and it works fine. It really is nice to be able to have the flash away from the camera!

The answer is yes without problem, the contax cable will transfer all TTL data, it worked every time for me and its cheaper than the Nikon set up.

So what is the Contax cable price? I got the Nikon cable for $45.00. The Nikon is rather big, how does the Contax TTL cable compare?
