Monkeys heed vs David o' Dreary

Makems apparently being "torn apart" according to their Metro fellas :-(

Want them to win this one. Handsomely if possible.

You know they'll not do us a favour - unintentionally or not.

'SuperKev' played fairly poorly first half and subbed second, with no discernible injury. I reckon Reid has pulled him off due to a poor performance. He's not on the bench so may have taken the huff.

Probably on his way.

Of course I could be wrong.

I'm not watching it on TV - just listening to Metro while I do some work.

I actually quite like the Makem commentator: he manages to say "British Gas, who are as passionate as you are", and keep it just this side of sarcastic.

Bollox. 2-0.

Mark "verdict: a hard fought draw" Lawrenson was inerringly accurate as ever.

A draw wouldn't have greatly flattered the Makems.

Watched most of the game on Sky. Frankly, it was a pile of steaming whatsit - hard to tell which was the worst team.

The mackems were slightly on top in the 2nd half without creating much. However, M'Boma should have equalised minutes before Keane got Leeds 2nd.

KP had a "groin injury". Reports that it was inflicted at half-time by Jody Craddock, after Phillips lost the ball in M/F causing Craddock to score an OG, are so far unconfirmed.

I was passing the Oulton Hotel in Leeds at lunchtime when I was cut up be a whacking great coach with a horrible crest on it & a monkey sat at the front, resisted the urge to suicide bomb it, after all i think we're better off if they keep the players they have got.

I did have a snigger at the fact the Coach has a load of advertising on it's room ready for one of those 'helecoptor shots' you get of the coach on cup final day.

Apparently, the Leeds fans today were chanting ".....suburb of Newcastle, you're just a suburb of Newcastle..........."

Doesn't scan too well, but love it!
