Now it will be "Robert to Barca" .....

From BBC Sport

"Ranieri has also been linked with Roma in recent weeks

Barcelona claim they have spoken to Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri with a view to the Italian taking the helm next season. The Spanish club are seeking a replacement for current manager Carles Rexach, with hopes of winning La Liga fading and their Champions League prospects hit by a 1-0 defeat in their quarter-final first leg tie with Panathinaikos.

According to a report in the Sunday Times, Barcelona have turned to Ranieri after original first choice Roma boss Fabio Capello signed a new contract with the Italian champions."

Highly unlikely, as well as not particularly wanted by me. (which is all that matters of course)

Robert takes over NUFC as player-manager and brings in Ranieri as his #2 in a deal that sees Bobby Robson and John CArver take over at Chelsea while Shearer takes over at Barca after leaving Newcastle in a snit when Robert leap-frogged him to the coveted Manager's job.

If Robert was manager he'd probably allow the players to smoke cigars on the pitch, and include a free pack of condoms with every season tickets.

He'd only buy French players, and he would have them train and live in the South of France, flying up for games.
