Well done Kev

With Man City walking their league I think Kevin Keegan has underlined his status as a great club manager. His sides are an absolute pleasure to watch, turning journeymen into superstars. I know he has his detractors on this board but I love the bloke for putting NUFC back on track and I have nothing but good memories for the time we shared.

Raise your glasses in a toast to one of footballs legends.........

Not at all Sparxx, I'd scanned the headers for the subject matter and when it wasn't covered I posted my tribute. Then I read the QPR thread and saw it was covered. Anyway I think its an acheivement worthy of praise. I am confident he'll do alright in the Premiership next season.

Stuart Pearce has hung up his dancing boots - another personality whom I respect and admire.

as long as he gets stuffed when we play him, ultimately relegated would be awesome mind, I don't give 2 bits what the bugger does.

As I posted on the other thread - "The great man has done it again. Many congratulations to KK."

Hey Clarky:

Just say no to drugs! Just say no!

KK has now managed three clubs and won promotion for all of them at the first attempt I think. That must be some kind of record. I can recall that Brian Clough won promotion for Hartlepool at the first attempt(still his greatest managerial achievement IMHO) Derby and Forest although I've no idea if the latter two were in his first season with them.

If he does stay at City long enough it will be interesting to see how far he can go but I would love it, just love it if he finds United blocking his path to honours.

Sparxx, if it was that easy why are City the only one of last years relegated sides to be coming back up?? At some point you`ve got to give the man some credit - Newcastle from bottom of div 1 to 2nd in the prem, a promotion with Fulham and a promotion with Man City. Not too shabby by any standards.

how hard is it to win promotion with virtually the same side that won it three seasons ago?

You lot are so blinded by his "success" you have yet to see that he has won nothing! NOTHING!!!!! You act as if promotion was like winning the bliddy PL! As if they had made it to the Champions League!

Promotion???? Yippie Ki Yay!!!! We'll see now won't we. We'll see.

How lads, Sparxx needs his rest now. Come back and play later ;-))
