We need to make sure at least 7 threads are posted each week

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A Country Singletree : One Thread

While researching the server protocol, I discovered that it requires a minimum of 7 new threads a week to maintain our place on the Public Forums list. Less than that frequency and we will be put on the "obscure listing" , which is not readily seen.

In order for our site to be efficient, we reallly need that access so the "wandering singles" know where to find us easily without typing a 60 character url.

If you would like to see this protocol in action, click on Lusenet and look for "A Village Commons" . If you don't have it bookmarked, your in trouble. It slipped off the listing a couple of weeks back.

yea Stan. If a forum doesnt meet those numbers, you have to go searching. I was thinking we should try to help AVC make it back to the most active list, but since they dont have an active moderator, it might be safer not being listed right now. Whats your opinion.

I'll post even if it's nonsense, if it'll help. I don't really post much, but I read it every day and would miss it. Jill

By the way, what is a week? Starting and ending on which days?
