Does anybody know what nero means when your trying to burn a vcd and you get the message"Recorder function not suppported."

The message means that the firmware on your recorder does not support DAO mode. How old is your recorder?

Since a VCD can only be playable if it is finalized and single session there is no point in track-at-once method of recording. So where in older versions you can deliberately choose track-at-once, now Nero is DAO by default for VCDs, which is bad for old CD-R drives that do not support DAO.
