Plenty of time...ST applications aren't over until 16 Apr

I don't fully understand the workings of the SJP ticket office, so to those of you who do (Macbeth?) how do they allocate tickets? Is it on a first come first served basis, or do they wait until the closing date for ST holders, then just pull the successful applications out of a lucky dip bag? And does it make sense to stuff as many applications as possible into one envelope, or spread them around? For the last Arse FA cup replay at Highbury I sent in two envelopes, and the envelope I mailed first came back as unsuccessful (for two tickets with ST ref. nos.), while the envelope I mailed out two days later got me a ticket. If I knew the rules I could play the game better.

DON'T put all the applications in together. Twice this season we've put in multiple applications and the club claim never to have received them, in spite of one lot being handed in at the Box Office. They don't seem able to cope with more than 2 forms in an envelope!

I usually put mine in as soon as they are announced and the only one I didn't get was the mackems.

Thanks Steph, that's what I thought. I always try to get my applications off asap. I had thought of jumping the gun and applying before the dot cock notification, but I'm fearful that they'd lose it/bin it.
