I have a research paper to do on Poe. I know a little on him and his works. I need some more info on why he is note worthy. If anyone can help, it would be great. And also if anyone has any places where I an do more research or published works about this subject, please include them as well.

Poe created and introduced the short story to the literary world. He was also the first known author to write murder mystries.
