That's what we need, by my reckoning, to guarantee fourth spot. So, four wins, two draws and one defeat from our last seven games is enough - it doesn't sound too bad when you bear in mind that that target assumes Chelsea win all five of their remaining games. However, we've got some toughies, starting tonight.

Chelsea, for their part, have Everton, Man U and Villa at home and Blackburn and Boro away; Leeds have Sunderland, Fulham and Boro at home, Villa and Derby away.

BTW, for those relentless optimists, for us to win the title, Arsenal would have to get a maximum of 10 points from six games; Liverpool 11 points from 5 and Man U 12 from five - then we'd just have to win all seven of our games and the title's ours!

Apparently if Vieira gets booked in either the game after next or the one after that, he misses the Manure game with a 2 match ban - the title race is far from over yet (although I reckon it is for us)
