We are thinking of purchasing some rabbits. How many babies do the does have? Are there any places in Minnesota where there are recomended breeders? What is the best breed to buy? Thanks Auralee

Rabbits have between 28 and 35 day gestattion. Meat breeds should average 8 per litter. Dwarf rabbits will be less. You need to be more specific in your intended use of the rabbits so we can be of further help.

Thanks for giving me some information. Sorry I was not very specific the first time. I am thinking of purchasing a Dwarf breed. I live in Minnesota and the winters are somtimes quite harsh. Will the rabbits be ok in a pen outside. I raising ducks and guineas would they be a problem with the rabbits if I let them out? Auralee

Do you plan to show or just the pet market ? Is there a pet market ? I would not let them run together , but can be housed together .
