About sampling in recording...

I want to burn mp3 songs into CD which could be played in standard mp3 player. The songs are existing in mp3 format in my hard disk. I have Music match jukebox 7. For burning CD's using this software, There in options there are different sampling rates mentioned....Which would be the best sampling rate I should go for a good quality recording of songs in mp3 format. I want a good quality output...

128 is probably as low as you should go for decent quality. 160 or above will produce higher quality but produce larger files. This really is an inappropriate question for this forum as this forum deals with VCD, not MP3.

If the songs are already in MP3 format why do you still have to be concerned with the encoding bitrate?? If they are still WAV or some other format THEN you have to be bothered with the bitrate FOR encoding. As a general rule 128kb/s is okay. But you can do some arithmetic if you have a number of songs to fit on a CD and u may find out that you have enough space to, say, use a bitrate of 160 or even 224kb/s.
