Is first Domestic Violence Conviction ground for deportation of a person who has a green card for more than seven years? The case relates to a 20 year old marriage, with two children: A COLLEGE GOING GIRL and a 10th grader(american Citizen) boy. Thanks.

Regardless of how long one has been an LPR or not a DV conviction is a ground for deportation. Though the 7 years continuous residence as LPR before the offense was committed could help in getting cancellation of removal.
