CA - Some FasTrak Users Get Big Bill

Some FasTrak users are getting a big surprise in the mail.

Caltrans is asking some motorists to come up with 18 months worth of tolls.

Apparently, a computer glitch meant that the FasTrak computer identified some driver's cars, but failed to deduct toll money for the past year and a half. Now that the glitch is uncovered, Caltrans wants those drivers to pay up.

One Larkspur woman received a payment request for $258 dollars.

The mistake only affected people who drive across the Golden Gate Bridge and received their FasTrak pass from the state.
