Week of April 1. Fools.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MATH : One Thread

Hey!

Where are the MATHletes? Y'all need to represent.

I guess Hannah is packing and T is pulling her hair out and the rest of us are like, working or something.

Going to TX tomorrow! I am too excited. However, I have two boring-ass meetings from hell today, so I am hoping I can have some MATHtainment in between. Don't let me down.

You can't come anymore. Vince says you're out of the band, too.

Ha ha! April Fool, fool!

I am so excited. This morning Mad Madeleine asked if you could sleep in her bed with her. She thaid she wouldn't kick you.

But thee, I bet she would.

Vince Chao no kick me out of Damn Millionaires! We have holy war if he does. Damn, I have to get a bunch of lyrics printed out for, you know, the arranger and producer.

Oh, yeah, you have to do that. We have most of them on our computer, though, I think. Also, remind me to get Matt Biersmith's acoustic guitar so we can have more than one. One guitar is a lonely guitar, indeed.

Just think, in less than 24 hours, you will be at Chao Camp!

I can't believe H moves to the ATL in a week. I am a sad girl, all alone in big Texas.

Herro? So sad.

I'm here. AB, where you be lately? You no like internet no more?

I can't believe the movers come like, day after tomorrow. So soon! My apartment is crazy messy. Montego is at my mom's, but I keep forgetting that and panicking that I packed her or something.

No, I love internet! I have just been busy and more busy. I kind of like it, but I think I may need to start drinking more to slow down.

So soon to move! I thought it was next week. And don't forget to pack the dog.

How 'bout them TERPS!!!

-- Anonymous, April 02, 2002

YES! Chao Camp celebrated in your name last night, Berman. I think Vince might have even shed a tear when they played that "The ball is tipped..." song. Of course, he does every year, but this year, that tear was for you.

I bet the Lowe-Huffs are chilling at Chao Camp as I type. Yay!

It was so awesome. Words can't even desrcibe it. I just about died of happiness.

Did you get to go for usatoday.com or for yourself?

I wonder if T's Chris ended up going.

-- Anonymous, April 02, 2002

For me, which was much better.

Listen to this nuttiness: I flew down Monday morning, leaving BWI at 6:20 am, flying to Detroit and then catching a plane for Atlanta. This morning, I had a 6 am flight to retrace my steps.

But it was so, so worth it.

Chris had a ticket, but he ended up passing it on. As much as he wanted to be a part of it, he couldn't bear the thought of dealing with a crowd (Mike, as your wedding looms, you'll know what he means). He watched the game at home with his friend Josh, a Duke fan who we converted for the evening.

Mike. Dude. You know that Delta flies direct, right?

-- Anonymous, April 02, 2002

Oh, I'm all about the Delta and the SkyMiles, but when you make your arrangements at the last second and you have pretty set arrival and departure needs, price becomes a big factor. Northwest was a lot cheaper, although Delta would have been fine if I could have flown home a little later.

Mike - have y'all set a date yet?

-- Anonymous, April 02, 2002

I am at Chao Camp. Drunk as skunk.

-- Anonymous, April 03, 2002

Al at Chao Camp! Drunk as skunk!

-- Anonymous, April 03, 2002

Mike - I said a prayer of thanks for the Terps win. I thought you might be there. It was too awesome to miss.

-- Anonymous, April 03, 2002

Yeah, it really was. It rocked like hardlucy.

-- Anonymous, April 03, 2002

I'm at my aunt's. All of my belongings are on a truck somewhere. Maybe in Cleveland?

Al & T - We're leaving for ATL on Sunday morning, early as possible, so we hope to get down there around 3 or 4.

-- Anonymous, April 04, 2002

Joh, I'll be there. Right now, though, I am beat down. Beat down, I tell you, by The Man. But, I'll have accumulated 5,000 Skymiles by Saturday, which kind of makes it worth it.

-- Anonymous, April 04, 2002

Al - are y'all back from Darras?

My mom and I leave super early tomorrow. I saw on TWC that it's supposed to rain all week in ATL. All week!

Oh, and my mom is staying till Saturday. Saturday. At that point I might throw her on the MARTA and make her find her own way to the airport.

Ha! I was talking to a woman this weekend who said that she can't stand that every time her mother comes to town, her flight arrives at like 2 p.m. on a Wednesday. Both she and her husband work, and her mother was LIVID when they suggested that she take the MARTA into town. The girl worked in a building that sits on top of a MARTA station. The airport is its own MARTA station. Not that tricky. Her mother, though, was furious.
