With a great shot like this, who needs critique?

Just don't get too carried away with this posting thing because I'll never get any sleep!!!

This one works much better for me. Though there's still a lot in the picture, it's all visually tied together, and there's a nice flow to the lines it makes. There's nothing extra that clutters things up, and the framing is nice and tight.

Trav, nice work.

I feel greatly honored, Travis.

Specially because this is a very good shot. Everything worked well for you this time.

Only advise (I do realize I'm getting older when I feel entitled to advise anybody about anything) keep your M away from the sand ! !

BTW: have you thought of putting your photos at work in an image bank ? IMHO this photo could be a good candidate.

Thanks for your kind deference, Travis.

Travis,

I like it; of course it's only my opinion.

Is this in Mexico in honor of Ivan? Which, BTW, is named for the Olmec (sp?) peoples.

-- chris chen (chrischen@msn.com), March 31, 2002.

Hey, Chris:

Certainly they do speak Spanish in Méjico but, though my mother language is Spanish too, I was born and still live in Chile some few thousand kilometers South from the nearest mexican territory. Let alone some other few million people who also speak Spanish but happen to live somewhere else . . . like Spain, for instance.

In fact, we chileans live so far to the South of the World that you can easily see the horizon line falling down towards the South Pole"

But anyhow, Travis, where is that beautiful beach located . . .?

Thx Ivan,

This beach is Sentosa in Singapore. A must visit tourist spot. The bridge leading to the small island was there only for a few weeks. i was lucky enuff to grab it before they took it away.

I believe Mexico has more beautiful beaches though..;)

u deserve the honour Ivan.
