Today my uncle called, to let me know he was getting fined $200 dollars for not having his chickens, ducks, and goats ect..immunized... YUP thats right.. here in good old Morgan county , Indiana, we must take our barn yard critters to the vet and get their shots, just like the dog or the cat.... Is this just where I am or is this other places... ps, this included his rabbits too....The inspector will be back next friday to see if he has the right documents, and if he dont..... well kiss that money good bye...

Wow. Your just a short jump from me. I 2nd the question "is this a county thing" or what? I've never heard of this. Maybe it's because your to close to Bloomington? Perhaps one of us should ask Jack Bunyard, he's been a full time farm guy for a long time. Let me know what's up w/ this would you? I have a bunch of questions about this. Such as, if he vacinated them himself, w/o verification from a vet, is that adaquate? That sort of thing.

For animal intended for meat can you use "its against my eligious beliefs " .Just a thought .
