Anything could happen at the top of the league at the moment although IMHO Arsenal will win (worse luck). As interesting is the bottom. Leicster are doomed of course but who do you think could go with them? Ipswich for second bottom maybe and then Derby I think. Any other views?

To be honest SK I don't think you'll go. You may just make it by the skin of your teeth.

I won't pretend that I have sympathy for your club but as a fellow supporter I can certainly empathise at your misery. Life's sh*t when your team is.

If you look at the Football 365 site and click on the interactive stats bit you can look at league tables for whatever period you want. If you look at the Prem from 1st Jan to today the Makems are actually second bottom with 9 points from 12 games and a goal difference of -12. It's not the sort of form you want to be carrying into the crucial last few weeks of the season is it?

Good luck SK - I hope you lot escape - but only by the skin of your teeth at 4.45 on 11 May!!

What's all this softly softly approach to Sunderland?. Sod them, I hope they go down that's for sure. I certainly took enough shit when they were doing well(?) Peytar Reid's gotta's Monkey's heed..didn't you know?

I'd like the mackems in the PL 'cos the Derbys' are a bit crackers and worth the nerves and I can't see 'em gettin really a lot better than mid table next year.

soops - I still fancy you'll stay up. However, I reckon that if you don't beat Leicester tomorrow you really could be in deep dood.

It would be interesting if the Sunderland v Derby game at the end of the season was a decider.

Especially with Mr Barton and Mr Lee playing for them. It would be an extra incentive.

Doubly interesting if the Toon away to Soton game is also a decider - be like another NE Derby, only at one remove.

I don't think the makems'll go down, there are enough others who are worse.

Mind, if they can't beat Leicester, I might have to rethink.
