This ainīt no complaint about this site (naturally), but about COMPUTERS! I figured that this topic would come in handy when whining about equipment and other stuff (you lurkers feeling an urge wanting to complain about us posting on this board, well just "stick och brinn" - get lost and burn.)

Now, computers....

Got this new machine just over a week ago. Still so new it smells of plastic. And it ainīt working properly. Anybody surprised, really? But it is a shame one could spend $1100 on equipment that wonīt work like it ought to. Programs not responding, coputer looping and shutting down when IT feels like it, NOT when I want it to. Aw, sucks.

Nuff said.

I know that it doesn't help much, but I am retired from a major company where I taught both computer software and hardware clases (especially hardware). That said, yesterday both my wife's and my high school daughter's laptops completely crashed(I fear a virus even though Nortons was on both of them). Now I have to pick up the pieces and explain why I probably can't get the data files back. Oh well!, at least my laptop is still working (its brand new - knock on wood).
