You stupid Mackem B'stds

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

1 min 18 played and 1 down. And to think we did you a favour yesterday.

Make that 2-0 after 5 minutes.

Still I had to laugh when the commentator said that Sunderland may have already been relegated if it wasn't for Phillips.

Predictions please for final result. Could be 4-0 already.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

They are dreadful aren't they? If Arsenal can be arsed, they could score more than we did yesterday.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Arse to win the title.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Munchkin's just missed a sitter :-(

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Phillips just hit the side netting from 6 yards (open goal) - maybe he wants to play for the champions next season.

Yes, Ciara - absolutely. I said in December after we beat Arsenal that they were the best side I'd seen all season and they have just got better and better. AT this moment I'd settle for us to come second behind them and Man U to miss out on the CL.

L'pool 1 up :-(

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Arse treating this like a training game now.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

3-0

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

'this weak willed Sunderland defence' - you have to laugh

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

A training game with lots of shooting practice.......3-0

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Scouse, 2-nowt so far, also cruising :-(

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

:-)

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Why the smile Ciara? All the sides ahead of us have won / are winning?

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Cause if we aren't going to win the title(not highly likely, being realistic), I don't want Manure to win it again.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

This PL will go to Ar$e unless they really slip up and Manure beat them too - that's why I wanted Leeds to at least draw with the Manc tw@ts today.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

That's why I wanted Leeds to win, or even draw, too. I have far more confidence in our ability to stay ahead of Leeds, than in Manure's ability to implode. ;-)

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

To be honest i'd rather Man U won than Arsenal. Ferguson has been a lot more humble this season. Wenger is just plain odious and i don't want Houllier getting anywhere near it.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

With Swifty on this one

When did Arse Whinger turn to the bad? I remember last season he was quite a decent honest foreign manager in the Vialli mould.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Swift, that's why I still have a slight hope of us going all the way, others (on this BBS) are opting for the least painful way of us not winning the PL - there're still lots of points to be won and lost.

Leeds v Manure was just one of those games which would have helped us, had it been a draw. That massive Manure v. Arsenal game is the biggest, if Leeds had got a point today, I could have actually seen me (God forbid) wanting Manure to win for once!

This commentator is great - Peter Reid takes something outof his pocket and throws it to the ground 'That's Sunderlands tactics on the back of a postage stamp that Peter Reid has just thrown away there'.

Classic

Chewsea 1 up now too :-(

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

:(

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

4-0, Henry ("Child's Play" says the commentator), sorry, ruled offside lol, still 3-0

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Derby equalised against Chelsea :-)

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

come on the derby, Barton was it?

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Are the Ar$e that good? Munchkin's missed at least 3! ;-)

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

...and now he's off injured, the Mackems play again on Monday - it looks a bit ominous (I don't want them to go down).

Bolton are beating Villa and will go above S'land if they (Bolton) win!

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Chewsea, 2-1 up :-(

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Chewsea have won, so we've gained eff all, unless pulling a little further away from Leeds is considered a 'gain' (not by me).

Bolton won too, sorry Sunderland, now if you can't beat Leicester on Monday? :-(

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Sunderland play horrible football, i don't care if they go.

-- Anonymous, March 30, 2002

Sounds a bit like our FA Cup replay to me. Not much of a pissing contest for either of us.
