IR focusing offset : LUSENET : B&W Photo: Alternative Process : One Thread

I'm building a pinhole camera for use with Kodak Infrared. It's an aluminum housing and I'm trying to calculate the IR focusing offset that I'll need (distance the film plane should be from the pinhole vs. the distance of the opal glass). Anyone know what the offset percentage + or - should be ?

Thanks much! - Dave

There is no such thing as focusing a pinhole camera--they have infinite depth of field with conventional or infrared films. Just choose a "focal length" for the perspective you desire.

You're right, that was certainly a duh on my part. After reading a little bit more on the subject, that became very clear. Thanks for the response.
