1.Cort goes the whole game without scoring, again. 2.Robert, gets booked, goes nowhere near the byline. Fails to make an impact against a terrible team. 3.Shearer scores a pen. 4.Ferguson scores 2. 5.The man behind softie calls Robert names. 6.Everton tackle harder. 7.Solano has a quiet game, gets subbed for Lua Lua on 84 minutes. 8.A makeshift defence copes admirably/ or patched up defenders look...patched up. 9.Bernard doesn't get a game. 10.JJ does well, Acuna runs about a lot, generally bad positionally. 11.Dyer breaks down again, out of WC. 12.Marcelino makes the bench - gets booed and cheered. 13.Everton scrape a flukey winner. 14.Robson describes it as seasons worst. 15.bbs goes quiet. 16.Watson is cheered as he comes on as sub. 17.Villa now looks daunting.

I'm half expecting that all I'll have to smile about come the end of the season is a few videos of games that kidded us we were getting there.

This Everton game will help to clarify that situation.

I still can't get my head around how losing Bellamy seems to have had an effect that's totally out of proportion and it would be just like Ferguson to rub our noses in it and show us what we're missing.

Doesn't bear thinking about.
