Can someone tell me what my Leica If is worth. It`s in mint condition with viewfinder 5cm and Elmar f = 5cm lens + lenshood + the original leather case.

I sold mine 3.5 years ago on ebay for $650, with out finder or lens. Later I sold the finder to the same guy but someone else bought the lens. Mine was ever so slightly less than mint. Mint - would under rate it.

A few questions:

What's the serial # on the camera? Are the small numbers around the outside of the shutter speed dial black or red? Converted to slow speeds? Serial # on the lens? Does the lens have red markings on the base?

If the camera is a Black Dial If, you have a rare If with production at only 1,188 compared to the If Red Dial's production of 15,786.

If the Elmar has red markings on the base, it is a more expensive 50mm Red Scale Elmar.

This will bring the price up or down.
