If this really is from the Weekly World News, as the byline indicates, it's a made up story. WWN is a US supermarket tabloid that out-tabloids every other by not even pretending to print true stories(think a print version of Rik's old Sunday Scum). The covers usually feature various forms of alien life invading, getting someone preggers, etc. It's a rather amusing read when stuck in a long line, particularly when the other choices are Soap Opera Digest or a variety of teen magazines. ;-)
