When do I know for sure when the bunnies are weaned from mom? How soon is too soon to take away from her? Sissy

I wean at 4 weeks. Granted, I breed the does back 2 weeks after kindling, thus giving them 2 weeks off between litters.

Forgot to add that these are NZW. I believe smaller breeds you are suppose to wait till 6 weeks.

Mine are Californians, do you wean your replacements at 4 weeks as well? I have always left my kits in for 5-6 weeks. Thanks!
