Minolta 132X for CLE TTL flash?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

Does anyone know whether 132x will also work with Minolta CLE? I know the 132PX is the right one but what is the difference between these two (132PX and 132X) and are they compatible?

Thanks. The Minolta site does not come up with my search.

I don't believe the 132X is a TTL flash for any camera--This series of flash only sets the shutter speed and was designed for very early Minolta electronic SLR's before they incorporated TTL flash features.

Thanks, yes I just confirmed that the 132X that I am interested in got only two contacts instead of three contacts on CLE. "P" probably stands for program or TTL mode. So the 132X won't work in TTL mode on the CLE.
