Reserve Premier League Championship

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

For those who may be interested, the following is the current position at the top of the Reserve Premier League:

Toon - 38 points from 20 games
Boro - 35 points from 19 games
SAFC - 33 points from 19 games
ManU - 32 points from 18 games

We have 4 games left - at home to Liverpool, and away to ManU, Villa and Leeds.

The big game could be our away game at ManU on April 4, although we probably need to win our home game against Liverpool on April 9.

If silverware is up for grabs, we may need to organise a Toon Army skirmishing party for our final game, at Leeds on April 29. However, perhaps not unsurprisingly, the final scheduled game of the season is ManU's home game against Leeds on May 7!

Will the Manure match be at Bury Clarky? If so, the young 'uns better take their buckets and spades - they've got more sand on the pitch than there is on the beach at Whitley Bay!

I've no idea Jacko - but will keep an eye on ".com" and post any details I find. We could do with the NW branch of the bbs getting a few thousand Mags to turn up and support the lads - Lynda!!
