One of my favorite signs of spring has arrived. Indianapolis has a mated pair of peregrine falcons which nest on the 31st floor of one of the downtown office buildings. The DNR has a camera installed in the nest box, and the newspaper has live updates on their website. Last year the female laid 4 eggs, 3 of which hatched. So far this year she's laid 3 eggs.
