HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!My house is a disaster. I have finally got most things unpacked but can't find a place to put everything. Closet space is limited and have used it all up. I need advice on what to do for little to no money. I have bathroom stuff and kitchen stuff to contend with. I have limited kitchen cabinet space and don't have a linen closet or shelves in the bathroom.

How much of that stuff do you really not need? Love Mom

I like those plastic containers that will slide under the beds, wall mart has them, just measure the space and get the size to fit. I put winter clothes and blankets in them. I can get four under queen bed. Do the martha stewart thing, lots of baskets, sort and stack, and put on closet shelves. Or maybe have a garage sell.

Hello Melinda,

Have a yard sale! You will get rid of some of the stuff you don't really need and make a little money to buy baskets, shelving, etc.

Sincerely,

Ernest

Be careful with shelves over the toilet or any expensive piece of 'furniture'. If someone knocks your smoothing iron off the shelf and smashes the toilet they might never 'fess up' and meanwhile you will have nothing to go on. :)

Open shleves would help in the kitchen. Sometimes I see them on sale for less than $20. You could make a curtain to put over them if you don't want to see what is on them.
