Just to let everyone know. The CAB sent a letter to Davis & Co telling them I already had a full and final settlement. Davis & co have now written to me saying that their letter was sent in error.

CAB say that they do thousands of this type of settlement each year, and if a lender were to go back on it, it would cause repercussions throughout the UK.

I'm still awaiting reply from HMC themselves, and from my MP Andrew Smith.
