When is he coming back? When was the last quote we got on when he'd be back? I thought it was going to be Everton??

Last quote I read Jim - on Friday I believe - was "another two weeks". I suspect they have no real idea when he will be ready, and that he will be under ongoing scutiny.

Despite the magnitude of the loss - he is another Toon player who is gets better every time he doesn't play - my own feeling is we'd be better off writing him off until next season, and giving his knee a few months to fully recover from what Dr. Bill has advised us is a "wear and tear" injury.

Rushing him back could simply lead to more problems, potentially running into next season. We won't do this, of course.

I need to know the answer to this question desperately. I have until Thursday of this week to make final transfers in my fantasy team. As I am currently leading the school table I need to know how much of a risk it will be leaving Bellers in my team - will he play again or should I transfer him? It would seem to be disloyal to chuck him out when he is one of the reasons I'm up there at the moment. By doing a few fiddles I was going to move Bellers out and bring Gudjonsson in - but then I don't really want him to score - but it wouldn't be too bad if he got hat-tricks in 4-3 defeats because I haven't got any Chelsea defenders. Oh God! Now I know how YBR feels!
