Boro

I for one was quite thrilled with Boro yesterday. Thought they thoroughly deserved their victory (saw it this morning), one in the eye for Manure. Thought they played very well, intelligently and were not overawed by the opposition. Well organised and some nice touches. Lovely to see too the Manure faithful heading for the exits well b4 time, deah me what is going to happen if they DONT win everything this year.

Liverpool to hammer the Kings Road mob and us to win every game till the end of the season.

Bud thanks for your note, no am here for 5-6 weeks so no rugby sevens.

I hope Boro put Arsenal out the FA Cup. I really do.

The Boro fans were all over the internet boards last night - rather like a nasty, unwanted rash!

However, I guess a Fulham v Boro FAC Final would be a sweet, if unlikely, outcome to the Semi's. Actually, I do have a fancy that Fulham will beat Chewsee, but can't see Boro beating Arsenal.

I'd love to see Boro v Fulham in the final. The idea of Arse or Chewsee winning makes my skin crawl. Though if it were Arse v Chewsee, I'd probably go for Chewsee as the lesser of the evils. And 'cause it would be fun watching Whinger whinge. :-)

I was in Manchester on Saturday afternoon. If it wasn't for our result earlier I would have been smiling all day.

Some thoughts about Manchester...That tram system is crap - made the Underground look efficient. Well, it was crap if you wanted to actually get on the things before kickoff (saw 4 go by packed to the gills with Irish and Manc fans)...although we could have got to Altrincham 10 times before our tram arrived.

Manchester around King Street has more Big Issue sellers than the whole of London, and they seem to operate on a shift basis - never passed the same 1 2ce.

If you want to get to the Trafford Centre (actually a quite impressive Cathedral to capitalism) using the tram, you can't. It drops you off in the lovely Stretford (be very worried - think Elswick without the charm) and catch a shuttle bus.

The best way to get to the Lowry Centre is not to bother travelling for 1hr 45 from the Trafford Centre (despite Salford Quays being the nearest tram stop) - no, instead just get off at Old Trafford (past the Theatre of Drones) and walk. F**king useless...
