Dyer is in the England squad for the friendly against Italy on Wednesday. What chance he isn't fit for the game against Everton on FRIDAY - 42 hours later.

Apparently, we have an agreement with SGE that Dyer will train only with the squad, but will not play - still doesn't stop him get injured in a training game mind.

He would surely have been training with NUFC otherwise anyway though. So it doesn't make much difference really, it just means he has a chance to show SGE what he can do in training.

Thanks Clarky, I didn't know that, but I was hopeful he wouldn't play.

Bobby was quoted....somewhere yesterday....err, icDP?....saying Dyer wouldn't play for England on Weds, but he had no problems with him joining up with the squad.

Bobby was quoted....somewhere yesterday....err, icDP?....saying Dyer wouldn't play for England on Weds, but he had no problems with him joining up with the squad. Apparently Dyer's latest medical said he wasn't yet fit enough to play 2 matches within a week, and we need him for Everton.

The Adult Books merchant is quoted today saying there's almost no chance of Kevin playing, and the teams have agreed to use 11 subs in the game. So he'll be playing for 90 mins then...
