What's the feeling about our chances for tomorrow ?

Is a win a realistic possibility ?

Can't see arse letting themselves be psyched out like in the league, and with the injuries we've got I think we'll have a job scoring, even assuming we get anywhere within range of their goal.

Sneaking through on pens would do me.

Of course a win's a realistic possibility. Despite recent results, I think we've been playing decent football and it's about time we had some luck running our way.

We'll win, 1-0 or 2-1. Nee probs! :o{)

Given
Hughes, Dabs, O'Brien, Distin
Solano, (midfield ??), Robert
Shearer, Cort(?)

From: LLL, Acuna, Dyer, Eliott, Kerr, Bernard

We have a team with pace, width, balance, skill and bottle. Our goalie is superb. The back four are all good players - who know themselves they must do better and I think they will.
I wouldn't swap Salano and Robert for anyone because on their day they are world class. Not one of the players in the from list will be freaked out by the occasion. Good player is young Kerr.
How about this for attacking options: AS & CC, AS & Robert with Bernard on the left, AS & Dyer, or Dyer in midfield, or even Robert & Dyer up front. We'll score!

Sing your hearts oot for the lads, lads & lasses. I'll be drinking beer at 11.30am biddly fantastic, it will be a great day tomorrow. HWTLs.

If we hadn't already broken our London jinx(in London, that is ;-) ), I'd say there was no way we'd win. However...who knows. They weren't much on Weds night, and we've played well against them before. I really feel it could go either way.

I have the feeling it could be LLL's day, I don't know why?

If we can have some off the jammy b@st@rd luck the Scousers got during the CL 1/4 final draw then we should make it to extra time.

Get into them, and f*ck em up from KO (and can we stop doing that ko routine where we launch a high ball to the left wing for Shearer/Cort to knock on to nobody?)

Hmmm...just saw the news about Speed definitely missing tomorrow. Starting to lean towards the pessimistic side of this fence I'm sitting on. :-(

Of course we can win. On our day we are as good as anyone. Haven't forgotten that this season we have beaten Arse, Newton Heath and Leeds (twice).

i thin arsenal are there to be taken after wednesday, no doubt they'll fight but they must be mentally as well as physically tired.

i'd like to see robert & dyer play in attack supporting shearer, arsenal may have adams in who will be much happier playing against cort & shearer rather than the pace of robert. this formation will cause arse to play much deeper and help pin vierra back.

saying that i doubt this will happen, br seems intent of letting cort play his way to fitness, i could agree with this if it was november but the last 3-4 games have been a hell of a time to play with half a man down.

I have no inkling on this game for a change so anything could happen! All I know is that I'm not going and will be sitting like many of you in front of TV agonising and kicking every ball.

Howay me bonny lads lets do the business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't lose sight of not having won since Bellamy went out.

If we were that good, losing him shouldn't have made as much difference as it did.

Penalties and fancy free kicks should be the icing not the cake.

Uri Geller is at it again tomorrow, lads n lasses.

pb, bobby rightfully points out that without Bellers we scored a few goals against Arse, it comes down to whether Robert will turn it on or not.

Uri Geller is at it again tomorrow

Thanks for the warning Dougal - I'll lock me cutlery away in a sound- proof container.

We can win this as we have a team capable of beating anybody. The odds favour Bumnal of course, but we played them off the park in the first game and they must be experiencing a little self doubt after Whinger's outburst 2 weeks ago telling the press they would win the treble and then falling at the first hurdle.

Every chance - howay the lads!

Sorry to gatecrash the optimists party, but we're in for a tonking tomorrow. :(

3-0 to the Arseheads wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

I just think the mid-week CL result for them was the worst that could have happened for us. They now have no other Euro games left, so can focus their efforts on the FA Cup and the league.

Of course it is well within our ability to beat them, but a really fired up Arsenal team could take their chances and put us out.

Once again sorry :(

Sorry about that prediction, but it looks like I was right.
