Douga; I told Pilgrim he coul dhave mine if he wants it, but if not, you can have it. Get in touch with him - OK?

-- Anonymous, March 22, 2002

Thanks, Hon. Do you know his e mail perchance?

-- Anonymous, March 22, 2002

You can have mine, I can't make it up. By the beer for my dad, you'll be sitting next to him. Mail me an address and he'll mail you the ticket, or he can give you/your mate the ticket outside the ground if that suits. If you get one elsewhere, anyone else in need of a ticket just let me know asap so we can mail it off. Milburn Stand, level 7, half way line (gate 77/76)

That is brilliant, Terry, what I now hope is that Pilgrim will agree to take yours so that I can give my mate Screach's ticket tonight....

Will be in touch ASAP.

Dougal, if it helps my Dad is always happy to move seats/swap tickets so that you and your mate can sit next to each other in our ST seats in the Milburn stand. It worked okay for Kats. As long as the seat we swap the poor old bugger into isn't in the corner/behind a post/next to a fat smelly bloke/etc. let me know. It just means you mail him your ticket, and he mails you both of ours. I'll act as mediator if a row breaks out!

Dougal, Mysterious et al

I am making a long awaited pilgrimage North next Friday and would love to get my hands on a ticket for Fridays game. If one of these tickets you are discussing becomes spare or any others appear I would be grateful if you would think of me.

Yours grovellingly

Terry, Bob, I still haven't heard from Pilgrim (which may be on account of my slow e mail system). I'm going to give Screach's tic to my mate as I won't see him until next Friday and I'll e mail Terry with my address so his dad can send me the ticket (and I'll send him a cheque by return) so that Pilgrim or, if he's not going to the match, Bob can use Terry's.

Is this OK with everyone?

Dougal

I did a daft thing this morning just before setting off for Highbury, I called the box office to see if there were any tickets going. amazingly a very nice polite lady obliged with a ticket in the Milburn stand. She said there were a few single seats about - mainly in the corners and one or two where I have gone at £31.00 + a £2.00 booking fee? I don't know why they don't just say the ticket is £33.

Anyway thanks but I have sorted a ticket out.

Aye, that's just bliddy great by me pet. As long as it gets used. If not, let's know and I'll give you a number to call. The lad next to me is often looking for a ticket for his bord.

Dougal, Pilgrim, et al, just so long as my Dad knows where to mail the ticket if it's still needed. The sooner the better so that it gets there on time. Incidentally Bob I agree with your booking fee comments. They might as well start breaking down the overall cost of each ticket (printing, mailing, booking fee, etc). As it happens my seat is on the halfway line, not stuck in a corner, and I've never taken more than £25 for it, and no booking fee/postage. It's always nice to get some cash for it but I just want to make sure it doesn't go to waste on the weekends I can't get up (ooh missus)

Terry I'm really sorry about not using your ticket...I hope Pilgrim appears as I will feel really guilty if your ticket goes to waste. I would much rather have used you than the box office but I must admit I was starting to get confused who was going where. As it happens I think the ticket I have bought is in the same area as yours.

I haven't been to St James this year so I was very keen to ensure I had a ticket and the box office was a definate.

Believe it or not, I've rounded up 7 tickets for the Everton game for various friends & family.

However, if BR decides to play the same team & formation again there will be 7 tickets up for grabs! :0{(

Bob, no need to apologise mate, this is a bulletin board, not a swap shop. That said, (as Mr Partridge would say) Dougal, I now have two tickets, 'cos my Dad's away for the day. Let me know what's happening asap. If you don't want the ticket I can probably shift a pair easier than a single.

PIlgrim told me he's not going on Friday. So my tic has gone to Dougal's mate. Doug - the guy next to me (Richie) may want a ticket. I;ll e-mail you his number to your DOUGAL09 id at hotmail (unless your work id is functioning again??). Drop me a note if you don't get it.

Dougal09 has expired. Ooh - floods.

-- Anonymous, March 24, 2002

Screach, Terry - I'm a bit poorly but came online to sort this out. If there;s anything I need to do, e mail the other address.

-- Anonymous, March 26, 2002

Dougal Sorry you're unwell. This is all getting a bit complicated. Thought you'd changed your mind when I read that Screacher had given you his ticket and Pilgrim wasn't going. Tried to email you but it bounced back. Got an email from Screacher which suggested that you were sorted, and could he have the two tickets for his lad. I spoke to his lad who was due to call me back. Apparently he called and left me a message half an hour ago, and is now due to email me. Now I feel like a heel, even though I'm trying to please both/all parties. Bet you can do without this if you're under the weather. I wish I had three tickets. However, you were first, so if you want one it's yours. I'll explain to Screacher Junior when he calls. Help!

-- Anonymous, March 26, 2002

Dougs Is a solution for you to take Jonboys ticket, and Screacher Junior to take my two tickets? (we'd better thump the toffees after this)

-- Anonymous, March 26, 2002

Dougal wants a ticket for his mate....Sreacher's given his to Pilgrim if he is going. Terry says you can have mine Dougals Mate. But hang on, if Pilgrim takes Terry's, Dougals mate can have Minnesota Fats. But then If Dougal and his Mate take Terry and his dads then Terry's dad can take Dougals. But if Terry's ticket isn't being used by Pilgrim....This is getting Mysterious...then bob can have it. An extra ticket from the Box office goes to bob.....but then Screachers neighbours bird might want a ticket.. Pilgrims had enough of this and buggers off for the weekend. Clarky now sets the cat among the pidgeons threatening to flood the market with seven black market tickets if Bobby won't play ball. Terrys dad seems to have got a better offer for the weekend so Dougals ticket is now spare. And as Pilgrims not going Dougals mates ticket which was originally screachers is now spare....or did it go back to Minnesota? Now enter Ritchie in Minnesota - he might want a ticket. Dougal expires so he wont be able to use his ticket. Dougal rises from the grave (few days early there) but confesses to nervous breakdown over ticket corruption scandal and being under the weather casts doubt upon his attendance

Screaching Minnesota piles in to take 2 tickets for his son & heir + his mate (who apparently is having a big shindig Friday neet)

Now Jonboy brings his ticket into contention for Dougals mate.

IS THERE ANY WONDER THE BOX OFFICE LEAVE THE PHONE OFF THE HOOK??

Clear as day to me

(That's a Middlesbrough day)

LOL bob!

You've understood the situation perfectly there. I think you should write in for the job.

-- Anonymous, March 26, 2002

Spot on Bob, except Dougal is a she!

-- Anonymous, March 27, 2002

Just the job, bob. LOL

-- Anonymous, March 27, 2002

That's about the size of it Bob. I got confused 2 days ago, but glad you've been tracking this so as to give it a bit of clarity. Maybe I should mail you the ST books so you can handle it all for me, plus of course the usual agency fees. Simplest thing from now on is just to support the Mackems. Never any problems getting hold of tickets for their games :-))
