I have a bunch of books for trade:

* Home Wisdom from the Old Farmer's Almanac Home Library - A Commonsense Guide to Solving Everyday Problems. This is a new paperback 160 pages, 1997

* 1997 Western Edition of the Old Farmer's Almanac

* Un-used 12 Month Budget Book (about 5" X 7", thin, from Current)

*The German Shepherd Dog, lightly loved, oreg. retail $5.99 from Petco, copyright 1985, 88 pages, very nice! "A Complete Pet Owner's Manual"

* 99 Expert Quilting Tips from Rodale Press Quilt Books- this is a small paperback, 45 pages

* Lots of misc kids picture books for kids under about age 6 (we have a 7 year old). This are all lightly loved, mostly no marks inside. Some like Sesame Street, Barney, animal books, odds and ends.

I also have other odds and ends for trade, including misc fabric, gift wrap, Barbie stuff (not vintage).

More than anything, I am trying to clean out my house , but I can always use cotton fabric in children's prints (esp cats and dogs), homemade items suitable for gift giving for adults and children, quilt batting (my daughter and I make quilts for children in need), etc. I am open to suggestions! I just think it's fun to barter! We also know a family in dire need of help, so I might be able to trade for some things to pass on to them. They have two boys, ages 7 and 12. Oh, and my son wants Knex (the building toys) and Sega Genesis game cartridges that are good for younger children (no sports or fighting games, please). And maybe computer CD games for our Macintosh computer. (okay, we have a ways to go before we get off-grid!!)(hey, but at least we have land at last!)(giggle)

Hi again.

(Hey, thanks, Kristean. We *are* having fun trading!)

I have a couple more things to add to the list of things I have to trade. A couple things look like they are spoken for (from people e-mailing me)- please email me or post here to find out about what you want. But I also have:

* Lots of Blank Books suitable for nice gifts for women. They retail at $7.95 each and are new. We had a gift booth in a store for a whilefor a while, but the store closed and so this is new inventory. They have various covers and say things like "Dream", Friendship", "Celebrations of Life", etc. They are from the artist Flavia.

* Various magazines - Country Woman, Victoria. Some crafting and quilting mags.

* Like puzzles? I have a book called "Games Magazine Presents Will Shorts Brain Busters". This is a softcover book, about 10 X 12 inches, 128 pages.

Still cleaning out my cupboards (GRIN)! Keep checking back!!

Me again... updating!

So far he Home Wisdom book is spoken for, as is the budget book.

But, I found this book to add to my list of ones up for trade:

* Its Hard To Look Cool When Your Car's Full of Sheep (Tales from The Back Forty) by Roger Pond, signed by the author with a gold sticker on the front to varify that fact. This is a pretty, bright red near new condition paperback. This has a bunch of neat country essays that were originally printed in Roger Ponds syndicated column The Back Forty. Cute and funny. This would make a fun gift!

* I also have some back issues of Country Woman magazine

* 2 Mad Magazine books - Mad's Don Martin Cooks Up More Tales and Mad's Dave Berg Looks at Our Sick World.

*A Peanuts book- Have it Your Way Charlie Brown (actually, for some reason I have 2 of these)

The above are pre-loved, but in pretty good condition.

* I also have Living to Serve (Character Roundation Curriculum. This relates Bible stories to character study. Maybe someone would like this for their homeschool? 96 pages in very good condition. 1985.
