Using Non Leitz Lenses on Focomat IIc

Is there an easy way to fit more modern lenses on a Focomat IIc. Never mind the Autofocus tracking issue; physically I could not get a my 105 Rodagon to fit. Any advice would be appreciated?

Ihave changed my focotar against an apo-rodagon 50mm on my focomat1c but you must new adjust the steering-cam on the focomat. first change the optik ,go then to max magnification, focus the optik manuell with an neg inside. you leave the litte riding on the rim screwed adjust slots.now go to minimal magnification.on the right side of the focomat see you now one big screw on the axis of the wing. below this two smaller screws about one inch from each other. Open this screws a little!! bit and you can move the cam with the screw without slot and a red point looking backwards by hand. by do this you adjust the optik on the lowest magnification.fasten the cam, go to max. magnification.now do the procedure a second time or third time for more precision. at last adjust the littel riding on the rim .open the littel screw with the hole and push the riders on the position shown by the optik. please dont forget to marking the old adjustment before to go back without problems, if you want. thats it. its difficult to explain, requires some ways in the dark room, but simple to do. god luck!
