Well I'm on an organizational kick again. Trying to do juggle all of my comitments (small farm, housework, and work off the farm)is a real challenge. We really don't have much besides the garden at this point, but with the grass starting to grow and the weeds in the garden already making an apearance, I began to remember the chaos of last year. The only organizational book that has helped me has been the"Sidetracked Home Executives". They have a system where you use 3x5 cards to keep yourself organized. Daily jobs on one card, weekly jobs for each room on another, ect. I started to think about how I could use that very same system to organize the farm chores, wormings, breedings, when to put the nest box in ect. the possibilities are endless.
I suppose that they have a web site, I just haven't looked it up yet. I just thought I would pass it on. Susan

Mine is an ordinary binder (from dump), lots of looseleafs (dump), some tabbed dividers (yup-dump) or make yer own...divide into WHATEVER categories and away you go...even printed pages from here in there! Cheap...and works!

I use one main grease board organizer in my office here and each room has a 9x12 greaseboard in it. I two way update the boards so that I have my itenerary planned from here in the office and the small boards to keep me on track when I am in that room and to mark down as I complete things or reminders.
