Billingham Hadley insert sizes

Question for you guys who own Hadleys - the bags come in 3 sizes but is that the case for the removeable inserts? If the inserts come in different sizes, would I be able to 'customize' a bag with different sized inserts (within limits, of course)? Thanks.

Yes the inserts also come in 3 sizes.

Sunil,

I suppose you could put a smaller insert inside a bigger bag, but it attaches with a snap in the top, so if you wanted to clip it in, it would hang in the air, so to speak, and the empty space would be mostly under and evenly around it. But why? The inserts have removable partitions. The outside shell provides padded walls around the bag and the partitions can be either taken out entirely on configured any way you like. And I mean any way, because they can be attached everywhere inside the inserts and also to each other. There are no pre-determined strips of velcro where uou have to fix them. The whole inside of the insert is made from the velcro 'loop' type fabric. By removing the insert entirely you get a fancy little travel bag with no padding and a bit more space.

Great bag all in all. Just choose the size you like. I have the small one.
