Could someone pleas tell me why if i have already burned a video file on a cd. Why will TMPGE not start the conversion process. Also it will not open files I downloaded from the internet. That thing is very confusing. Does anyone else out there who has TMPGE. Could you please help

You probably downloaded DivX files and you don't have the codec you need to play it, hence TMPGenc is choking. See www.divx-digest.com for help with DivX if you need it. Also, most DivX files have 48 Khz audio which can cause TMPGenc to behave strangely. If you can get it to convert the file, you may have to convert audio and video separately to avoid problems.
