Make your own power gutter cleaner

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A Country Singletree : One Thread

Today on the Regis show, they showed how to make your own gutter cleaner for $5 to $10. A 8 ft length of pvc, two 90 degree elbows , one hose screw end fitting and the pvc glue. Glue the pieces together "shower diverter" style and you can stand on the ground and clean the gutters. If you have a multi story house, a couple more sections of pvc are required.

Unfortunately, some of that is coming our way this weekend and I registered 1.75 inches of rain today in my guage. Glad I have a greenhouse over my SFG and a diamond tarp over my half cultivated traditional garden spot.

BTW, I plan to put a male screw fitting on the cleaner end of my gutter cleaner so I can affix my brass high pressure nozzle to it.
