does anyone know what the market rates for various types of shoots (weddings, PR, products etc) are like?

Costs aside, how do you decide your fees?

Suluan,

For malay weddings, the rates would range between $60 (per roll/min 5- 6 rolls) and $1000 (for unlimited shots). Depends also on the number of hours contributed (i.e. 1day service etc etc). The negatives are usually returned to the newly weds.

Not too sure about corporate functions.
