C of G or Sou Business Car in Flint, Texas

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Southern Railway : One Thread

Do you know anything about a C of G or Sou Business car at the Whistle Stop Ranch at Flint, Texas? I saw a mention of this on RYPN, tracked down some text info on WSR, they say it's a Southern Car, I am trying to find out if it might be C of G, I don't see any listing in Sou. preserved equipment. Is this car still there? Is it Columbus? We think Columbus may have been part of the Judge Hofheinz passenger car collection in Houston, we are still trying to track down the electrical fixtures that were removed in an interior restoration (by boy scouts?) that never got very far.

Our museum has C of G Columbus, a business car converted from an IC Sun Parlor car about 1923, and Central RR & Banking Co. (C of G) Inspection Car #2, ca. 1878 wooden business car,as well as bag car 603(?), converted from a coach

Thanks,

Rudd Long C of G Savannah Shops www.chsgeorgia.org will take you to our not-so-hot website.
