WANT TO TRADE V35 Color module for a V35 Vario-contrast module

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

I have a beautiful color module for the V35 and would love to trade it for a vario-contrast module. It is in its original foam and cardboard box. Even though it can do variable contrast papers as well, I think the vario-contract module would be easier for me. My phone is 617-787-2105 and email is pepe3@bellatlantic.net

Hello Seth. You may well have a single color filter setting chart for your V35 however, if you don't and can't find a black and white v.c. module here's Ilford's recommended settings for (Durst filtration type) V35 Enlarger: Grade 5-200M.Grade 4-100M.Grade 3-45M.Grade 2- 0.Grade 1-55Y.Of course,a guide only and stated by Ilford that the Leitz enlarger head has been designed in conjunction with ILFORD.

Hi Seth, I looked and looked for a VC module without success. Finally, I bought one just this last year from Leica Parts Dept, 800-222-0118 ext 6...Dave Elwell. I cost $300+. I'm very happy with it because it eliminates figuring factors from variations of #3 paper. Keep this alternative in mind if you don't succeed with you present approach.
