I dont give any scraps. But with 100 + rabbits I would need alot of scraps. We feed the chickens and turkeys the table scraps. Did give them apple tree branches to gnaw on. They liked that.

Ok the chickens get some and I save some for the bunnies as treats .Ok so sometimes I even just go out and buy them ! There I admitted it .

Hee hee... don't feel bad, Patty! Even with a herd of 700, my hubby & I sometimes passed out apples, carrots, hay... and at Christmas, every cage got a cardboard toilet tissue roll stuffed with hay with a piece of apple in the middle. Had to save those TP rolls for months and got my grown kids to save theirs, too. Then, it was a family get-together on Christmas Eve to stuff the rolls and pass them out.

So, you see... you fit right in! Rabbit people are nuts! LOL

Ah, Pat are you saying were nuts??? I thought we were just "Caring" for those bunnies! I guess that is why this nutty rabbit raiser has had Maternity Row (nest boxes lined up in the laundry room) again!! Just don't want any bunnycicles!! Denise

LOL, Denise! How well I remember those two years of extremely severe winters we had! With a herd of 700, we were running all the nest boxes inside the house every night and stacking them up beside the heater vents! Then, having to return them to the does in the morning, again. Each nest box had to be marked with the cage number it came out of so they wouldn't get mixed up. (sigh) The things we do for our bunns, eh? LOL
