Anyone know where I can get an E39 (i.e. 50mm f2 Summicron) to 52mm stepping ring in the UK? I have tried all the obvious places (SRB, Speed Graphic) but E39 stepping rings seem to be conspicuous by their absence.

I'm holding one in my hand....it's made by Tiffen. You may have to have your favourite shop order one for you. I had to order mine. Also have a 39 to 49 step-up ring. I'm sure there are other manufacturers that make them.

I second using the B&H route. I'm located in Australia and bought a Tiffen 60mm->55mm step-down ring from them a couple of years ago. Ordered online, arrived in the post a week later. Easy.
