rain, rain, rain, rain, rain....

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!! ah, now, I feel better. Woke up really early to the pitter patter of another downpur. We had 5.2 inches just yesterday and it's raining to beat the band this am also. Heard dripping coming from the kitchen. Oh, shoot! (something like that). There's 2 skylights in the kitchen and one of them decides it's not going to just let in sun, but water too. Got a load of towels and wiped it up, (hey, I did get my kitchen floor clean), and layed more towels around. Been up since 3:30 and now it's a little after 5 and it's still pouring. Schools are closed around here, red cross had to come in and set up in town and I'm absolutley starting to hate rain. Mother Nature either has a weird sense of humor or she's going through menopause. Don't care, no sympathy here, she needs to get her act together. We're on top of a hill, but if I see Noah going by, I'll tell him you all said hey.

Well, that should have read, dounpour, instead of downpur. Course, I could have been thinking cats and dogs.....

OH Annie! I wish you could send some my way. We're having a drought here in western OK.

Hey there Stan! Thanks, I did finally get some rest, now I gotta work on my spelling. :) I was getting a little bit slap happy and figured I better get off before you all think I'm nuts! The rain quit for awhile today and gave the water a chance to recede. They're calling for rain off and on tonight and tomorrow. What's sad is we'll probably be praying for rain this summer. Feast or famine, isn't that the way it always is!? Cowgirlone, wish I could send you all some! We've got plenty to share and it'd be nice to spread it around.

We had a rain here in western Oklahoma last summer and it didn't seem all that bad. Of course it may not have been but about half an inch. (I can't remember for sure.) Any way, when you get enough send it our way. We got kids that ain't seen rain.
