Can anyone pleeeaaaze tell me if this dvd player is multi-region or not?

no this player is not but there is a hardware chip available

I bought mine new and it was region free. I opened it up recently now that the warranty is gone and it hasn't been tampered with in any way.

Anyone know if a firmware update exists? I'm having trouble with newer DVD's and their animated menus

Hola, I have a dvd toshiba sd-2100 and it is a zone 2. I wanted to know since(as,like) it(he,she) changes of zone. They agranezco much. Thank you.
