I added 4g of sodium ascorbate to 1 litre of Rodinal diluted 50 to 1 as suggested in an interesting article on reducing the grain in Rodinal by Ed Buffaloe and it actually markedly increased grain when I tried it. Could this be because of the difficulty I experienced attempting to accurately measuring such small quantities of sodium ascorbate? Is there anyone out there able to suggest to this Aussie photographer a means of measuring that is not costly? Would appreciate some help.
